Time to mulch

Hello everyone! Andy and I just picked up another bale of straw. I added a 3" layer to our plot on top of the old straw that is breaking down. Now our plot is filled to the rim with straw! I encourage everyone to pile it on. Speaking of pile... we should try to do another manure run soon as our pile is depleated. Adding a thick layer of manure under the straw will not only fertilize your plants, but will act as a sponge to soak up and conserve moisture through the heat of the day.
