Saturdays Workshop

Wow we learned alot today!! There are over 35 hundred different species of native bees in the U.S. They pollinate hundreds of times faster than European honey bees. They aren't aggressive and some have no stingers.
The "single moms" look for a deep hole to lay her egg then she adds layers of food and lays anouther in a row. She decides the sex of the egg and purposely leaves the male eggs till the end. Since they can be sacraficed 1st to preditors to leave way for the more valuble egg producing females to eat there way out last. !!!

Materials include smashed cans for the roofs

Using pop tops for hanging the Bee houses!
